Luke Newman is the man behind Cockroach Wheels, the iconic Australian skate brand born in the ’80s and recently revived with a commitment to staying true to skateboarding’s roots—skater-owned, skater-made, and skater-run. A lifelong skater and creative entrepreneur, Luke is also a skilled barber and co-founder of Uppercut Deluxe, a globally recognised men’s grooming brand inspired by classic barbering and skate culture.

With deep ties to the Aussie skate community, Luke blends authenticity, craftsmanship, and a DIY spirit in everything he does. He’s also open about the important role his faith in God plays in his life, guiding his path through business, family, and personal growth.
